I feel funny even considering birth control considering we are MFI however I feel it would be irresponsible to get pregnant by accident considering we have 7 frosties. I want to give as many of those babies a chance as I can!
That being said, condoms suck and I don't want to be on hormones again. Has anyone had experience with a hormone free IUD like paraguard? We are planning an FET in the spring, so until then this seems like a good option.
Re: IUD/birth control?
No experience w/ Paraguard, but I had the Mirena. I didn't want hormones again either but the Mirena seemed like a better option for me. No side effects and barely any AF at ALL. The insertion wasn't too bad, and was over pretty quickly. Some cramping later that day, but not bad. And the removal was painless.
Sucks that while we have IF and know chances are slim, there's always that *teeny* bit of possibility in the back of our minds, lol.
Overall, I liked paragard. It did make my periods a bit heavier than normal though.
With mirena, I spotted for over a month straight and still do here and there. I don't really have periods on mirena though. I went with mirena this time though because I thought the local dose of hormones might help control my endo.
