What Does Your Husband Say...?

Woops! I wrote this under the wrong board, but I'm sure you guys can remember your prego days! For the most part, I'm sure all of our DH are pretty understanding...but I'm sure there are things they ask or say that make your horns pop out and want to charge. Just curious to hear and get a laugh! What makes me want to strangle mine is whenever he asks me, "Why are you so tired all the time?" He's such a smart guy that I can't believe he has the nerve to really ask that lol

  • My favorite was I made a comment about how I couldn't wait to be skinny again [i was 38 weeks] and he goes, "you're not that fat!"

    Thanks dear!

  • I wake up and get a shower. Wake DD up make her breakfast and take her to school, come home make DH and DS breakfast. Get ready for work and take DS to in laws before work. On the few days I'm running late or frankly don't feel like it. I grab DS a nutrigrain and head out the door. So DH says, "what, no breakfast."

I was trying to think of something DH said that made my prego hormones send me into a rage and I couldn't think of anything.  When I think back at my pregnancy, I think DH was walking on egg shells the whole time scared to death he would say something to p*ss me off or leave me in a puddle of tears.  Apparently, he's not so scared of that anymore. I could go on and on about the annoying things he says now.

  • my hubby never really said anything too dumb, but for some reason touching my belly when DS was kicking really freaked him out so that was always a source of irritation because I always felt like he wasn't interested in my belly and what was going on. In every other sense of us being preggo he was excited and engaged, but that always pissed me off!  Good news is he's an awesome Dad:)

  • Remember that commerical when the pregnant wife wakes up her DH in the middle of the night because she wants pickles, and the fast food place is right next door to the 24hr store so he gets a burger, forgets the pickles, and ends up having to go out again?  DH watched that, looked at me, and goes, "Just so we're clear, I'm not doing that, ever.  If I'm already out, or it's a mealtime, maybe, but not if I don't already need to run an errand at a reasonable hour."  I was maybe 3 months pregnant.  I wanted to smack him.  Not that I would, or did, ever need to ask him, but still!
