I am notoriously lazy when it comes it exercise so when a friend if mine posted this app I wasn't sure if I would use it. Today was my second day of taking a 5 km (3.5ish mile) walk. It maps your route, allows you to save the route, and keeps track of distance, time, and pace.
you can even share your walk on Facebook, twitter, etc if you want to. It's called mapmyrun. If this works the link should show you our walk this morning
