Holy cow-am I really next in line?!? Passed GBS test and was told they were not going to let me stay pg past 40 weeks because of GD. OB made a joke about since baby is looking like she will reach due date that she might be too big to fit through. Umm, not funny! Next appt. is on Tuesday and cervical check will be done. I am seriously going to laugh if I am not even a little dialated at that point. Lol!

Congratulations Mama! Sending positive thoughts on dilation.
Well, after replying to a post below that I'd had no signs of PTL in almost a month, I ended up with lot of contractions last night and spent several hours in triage again. No answers again, but fFN was still negative and my cervix is closed so that is good news. Currently home on modified bedrest for a week until my next appts. Baby is head down again so I still wonder if big movement changes are just making my uterus irritable. 28w3days today.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

Thinking about you. Thankfully your cerbic is still closed. I hope your LO stays cooking.
I had my growth u/s today and little dude is still HEAD DOWN! My VBAC hopes are still alive, now I just need to actually go into labor on my own before my EDD (38-39 weeks sounds nice, no earlier for my own peace of mind). Little dude was estimated to be 6lb, 11oz today, but they say that would be off by a pound in either direction, so between 5lb, 11oz and 7lb, 11oz. So, I could be looking at a possible almost 8lb to almost 10lb baby :-o . Luckily his head is only slightly above average, so hopefully it fits, lol!
Overall, I am just thrilled to have made it to 36 weeks and will breathe a huge sigh of relief next Thursday when I hit term.

I am glad that cervix is still closed and that your fFN was negative. Sending you T&P's that LO keeps staying put.

Yay for baby's head still being down and reaching 36 weeks!
26 weeks, nothing new. I did just get off the phone with insurance who will provide me with a pump of my choice so long as I get a prescription and go through a Durable Medical Equipment Supply Company in their network. I hope I won't need it, but it is good to know the option is there. Thought I'd share for anyone who wasn't aware of the new law. I wish this had been available 2 years ago!
Glad to see that things are continuing to go well! Thanks for sharing the info about the breast pump. I didn't know about this either until a couple of months ago. I can't pick mine up until DD is born, but luckily there is a branch right in the hospital where I can get it.

Praying that your contractions stop and that you can hold off for another 9 weeks. Keep us posted.

So sorry for your triage visit, but so glad everything was ok. Good thoughts your way.

That's so nice! If I were you, I'd still get it. In the beginning, I nursed and pumped, both to get a good supply, and also because it felt like breast milk was the only thing I could do for my kiddo when he was in the NICU. But I would say once he was home, I nursed 95 percent of the time, but for that 5 percent, I was so grateful to have the pump!

My update: 36 weeks and 1 day, yay! But I, too, had a visit to Labor and Delivery yesterday. Had five minutes apart BH, which were contractions, but they were able to stop them with terbutaline. The doc thought I was dehydrated, but I literally drink a gallon of water a day, and I was up to half a gallon by then. It has been really hot here and we're getting some wild fires. Also had my last Progesterone shot, and only one more week left to take the Procardia. Have a great weekend everyone!

Glad everything was okay, but I am surprised they even stopped contractions this late in the game, my doc said they would no longer stop labor after 34 weeks.
Things are going well for me. I'm 29 weeks today and my next dr appointment is on Tuesday.
My family had a small surprise shower for me when I was in MA visiting them last week. My sisters planned it with a few close friends, my aunts/ uncles and a couple cousins it was perfect. We got some clothes for dd and some gift cards. We had lost all of dd1's things during hurricane sandy so it was great to get the GC's so we can start replacing stuff.

Yeah, I've heard this too...I do have a cerclage and am planning a RCS. My water hadn't broken and I wasn't dilated although I'm still not sure how that can be checked with a cerclage placed. nbsp;Maybe that's why. nbsp; I'm ok with them stopping them. Just 5 more days and baby can come!And we ARE due date buddies! nbsp;That's funny!nbsp;

I am going for a VBAC, but I definitely need more than 5 more days. Any time after term is okay with me but 38-39 weeks would be GREAT for my overly neurotic a$$, lol!

Oh, I would love to make it to my RCS date...my doc is not optimistic about making it that far, so my "goal" is to make it to term. I'm noticing lots more intense BH/contractions right when I'm scheduled for my next prog shot, and I just had my last one, and my other medicine to stop irritable uterus stops at 37 weeks. And since my labor and delivery visit happened a day after I should have had my shot (scheduling conflict so had to have it a day later), I have this feeling it's going to be soon. And it's a full moon next weekend!
