Thanks so much, ladies. Unfortunately, my appointment was cancelled. We live in Michigan and got hit with a pretty bad thunder/lightening storm that knocked the whole areas electricity out and the hospital's clinics had to cancel everyone. Go figure; my luck. I can't believe they didn't call today to reschedule as the power is back on as of last night! I am pretty upset that they didn't and will be calling them Monday morning. I am also going to look into being seen somewhere else.
In the meantime, I will try to stay relaxed and not worry unless there is serious cause. I appreciate all the feedback.

Sorry for the long rant but I guess it would be comforting to hear any ladies stories about subsequent pregnancies following a PTL. How proactive were your doctors at this stage in your pregnancy? Were you scared sh*tless during your 2nd pregnancy? What did you do to calm your fears? Thanks. Hoping to hear a strong heartbeat tomorrow at my appointment and to get some answers from doc regarding PTL this time around.
I'm late to the party, but thought I'd share. DD was born at almost 24 weeks, spontaneous PTL. DS was born at almost 39 weeks, no problems.
1. How proactive were your doctors at this stage in your pregnancy? I made sure to get a group of doctors who were comfortable with high-risk pregnancies. They put me on 17-p from weeks 16-36. Starting around week 22, I also had regular transvaginal ultrasounds--usually every week to 2 weeks. I was also put on pelvic rest starting at that time. All of these are fairly typical.
2. Were you scared sh*tless during your 2nd pregnancy? Yes. Every visit I was terrified of not hearing a heartbeat. Even though there had never been a problem with the baby, I was scared at every visit.
3. What did you do to calm your fears? I celebrated every week that went by. I also prayed a great deal. Every week that goes by is another week your baby is safe and warm and growing inside you. Hang on to that.
I hope you're able to find a good doctor who will take good care of you! Keep us updated.
