So... OPKs are not like  OMG we need to do it NOW surge surge surge!!! (think a submerging submarine with that statement- are you laughing? hopefully :-)

Surges just say you'll LIKELY ovulate in the next 24-72 hour (I think). I'm pretty positive 24-48 is a given.

So my last round I had positive OPKs like 4 or 5 times in 7 days. Just kept delaying- silly body.

Charting temps is the only way of truly knowing when you ovulate (after the fact). Now I use temps to know when to start using OPKs. I might switch to the more expensive digital ones which I am told are more sensitive due to the lots of positive OPKs this month. 

 So test twice a day so you know when you surge. When you know you're surging corner your husband in the evening. Chart temps so you get to know everything better.  

This.....you will get the hang of it.  Just when you start getting that EWCM, start bd'ing......once a day, and when you start tempting, keep up the bd'ing til your temp rises and you cm is dry......hope that helps. Best of luck!

Your cm and temps are much more accurate, the opk help pinpoint but if you don't take it at the right time you could miss it on the OPK....but as soon as your cm is watery or ewcm - GET TO IT don't wait for the opk to tell you...sperm can live up to 5 days in when your in your fertile time.

I guess I should have included the fact that I do temp as weel as chart cm. Had EWCM S, M, T, and W this week. This morning I had a .3 of a rise. Assuming Tmrw and Sat also include rises, then my theory that I o'd sometime between Tuesday and Thursday is right. We managed to bd every night this week since Sunday. My husband is pretty much over it. I have to give him a night or two off.
