Babies on the Brain

HMMMMMM

ok Ladies y'all know my SO and I decided to wait but that dont mean I cant think of ideas for the room right? lol I was thinking about doing a baby fantasy room for a Girl and if I have a boy.

For a girl, I would do fairies, unicorns, trees, flowers.

For a boy, I would do dragons, knights, Darker flowers, and wolves.

What y'all think of my ideas? What would be your ideal fantasy room for your LO?

  • I know i just like thinking and seeing all the different ideas and things i could do with it. I dont want to do a plain ol jane room i want something different something that inspires inspiration and imagination. Most important to me is Creativity.
  • that sounds like an awesome idea like do half the chalkboard and half whiteboard and depending on their sex different colors around the room.
  • i was just thinking maybe a little more greens for a boy and more lavender for a girl that or both lol maybe do a mural of what they like as they get older start with a basic color and add to it as i find out more of what they are interested in.
  • You should get a pinterest account. Then you can save all the ideas you like and have a visual to go with it.

  • Two honest thoughts here, and I'm not trying to be snarky, but offer some legitimate advice.

    1. Seriously consider looking into some advanced training. College, technical school, etc.  Babies are expensive and the more skills you have, the better job you can get. Even if you get a job and work a few years, then quit to stay home with baby, you'll be better off than you are right now.  Then if you are ever in a position where you need to work, you have a good foundation to fall back on.  Unless you or your SO are really committed to hard manual labor, it's hard to make a good wage without advanced training.  If you want to afford all that fancines for baby, you'll need some good funds.

    2. When are you are considering those fun plans, you might consider going a little gender neutral.  Then you can re-use stuff for other babies.

    Best of luck.
