Pregnant after IF

~~* Informal 3rd Tri Check-In *~~

I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, but I'm curious how the 3rd Tri-ers are doing. I know PrettyAccountant has been on vaca so this is just an informal check in I hope she doesn't mind me posting in her absence.

Sooo....what's going on? How's everyone doing? Anyone getting close to the big day?

  • Thanks for posting this.  I'm 30 weeks today and other than aches and pains I'm doing pretty well. My c-section is scheduled for 61 days from now so I'm starting to feel like I need to get everything done right this second and we have a lot of things scheduled for the next couple of months, from family visiting, to classes, dr appointments, etc.

Does it seem like time is running out to you?? We've got a lot going on over the next few weekends and it just seems like by the time things hopefully slow down, it'll be baby time! Freaking out a bit!

  • The last few weeks haven't been the best. I've had a couple of scary episodes but hopefully those will calm down or, better yet, go away. We did get the accent wall in the nursery painted and I washed all the clothes we've accumulated so far. That was a little reality check moment. My first shower is this weekend and I'm excited to see all my family. I can't believe I'm almost 30 weeks and down into single digits.

  • Hi ladies! I posted the other day about my partial placenta previa not resolving.  Boo.  I have a level 2 u/s scheduled for next Tuesday, so I'll get more info then.  I'm hoping it still resolves over the next 6/7 weeks, but if not, I'll have a c-section at 36 weeks.  Still a little freaked out, but feeling better about it.  So, the big day feels a lot closer now than it did a few days ago!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

  • So excited to see this. I will be 29 weeks tomorrow. I have a growth scan scheduled for the 24th. Fingers crossed that everything looks great there. The Braxton hicks are about to get the best of me. I have them every time I change positions. I need to ask my OB how many you can have in an hour before there is concern.

In other baby news...my sister gave birth to my nephew on Monday. He is her second child. She pushed for THREE minutes...two contractions and he was out. I was in shock!! Praying my labor is equally as nice!

  • Yay!  My first third tri check-in!  28w4d today and feeling great!  Had a growth u/s on Thursday and LO is measuring a week ahead in the 60th percentile at 2lbs, 12oz.  I failed my one hour glucose test so have to take the 3 hour on Tuesday.  I'm really not looking forward to fasting... but I didn't fail by *too* much so I'm hoping I'll pass the 3 hour with flying colors! :)

    Here's my beautiful little girl!
