Remember that DeBeers lawsuit?

Back in 2008, a class action lawsuit was filed against DeBeers for monopolizing the diamond market and driving prices up.  Consumers were able to submit a claim to take part - I was bored and submitted one (after seeing the article about the lawsuit on MSN).  Proceeded to completely forget about it afterwards. 

5 years later, guess what arrived in my mailbox this afternoon?

My settlement check for $352!

So happy I was bored that day!

We got 300 today! DH's aunt is one of the lead attorneys on the case, she has been waiting forever for it to end!
