Pretty upset that I tested positive. I know that they will start antibiotics when I go in to deliver. But it just seems like something else to worry about. Second time mom, didn't test positive with my first. Bummed.
Instead of looking at it as a worrisome thing, think about how good it is that they test for it and found out about it so they can take the precautionary measures to prevent transferring.
I get my results tomorrow and didn't have it with my 1st 6.5 years ago, so i might be in the same boat as you. Just take a deep breath and try not to worry about things that you cant control. I am sure everything will turn out fine, but i will send my T's & P's your way :-)
Thats what these boards are for, i have posted WAY more irrational fears than this. So no worries, you will get through. Its just hard at the end, after having so many things to worry about.
But the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter, we are almost there :-)
I was excited for the fact that I got to go straight to the hospital and get an epi asap when my water broke instead of laboring at home. But yeah antibiotics aren't ideal.

This.
If you are planing on getting any kind of pain relief they usually make you get a bag of fluids before hand anyway.
