Flotation Tank

Has anyone done a flotation tank before or anyone done it while pregnant? 

To be honest the idea of it really freaks me out but at the same time sounds AWESOME, guess it makes your body weightless. I bought DH a 3 pack on group on for pre-fathers day (he isn't a dad yet but he still deserves something for dealing with my crazy crying a$$) and then I got one for myself because on the website it says its 100% safe for pregger people.

anyone done it? is it crazy claustrophobic in there?

My bestie wanted to try it so I bought us groupons and we had a girls day. It was strange at first took me a while to relax and turn off the brain. not too claustrophobic surprisingly!

I would say for the relaxation factor i would do a massage, it's more enjoyable for me. However, i slept like a log after my float! Seriously, best nights sleep of my life!

My b/f just sent me a groupon to do it again b/c I've been having back pain! Going next week ;

Oh! Definitely wear the ear plugs if you go! I skipped them and regretted it! First time I ever ha swimmer's ear!

Thanks, I am excited and kinda want to wait to do it till I am bigger and sleep is horrible (from what I hear 3rd trimester sleep is non existent). And good idea about the ear plugs, I probably would have said no to them too! haha

haha well sadly I am not, I wish I had the energy to walk 2 miles a day, my dogs are lucky if they get a walk around the block  

but I like being called a "hot mom"...call me that allll you want jkjk
