We get intermittent giggles -- and have been for a few weeks -- but no belly laughs or like hard core giggles or anything. Girls are now just over 7 months actual, 4.5 adjusted. I wouldn't be too worried.
TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF
4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!
November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d
The nurses told me (as far as smiling) that it can happen early because of overstimulation or late because of the preemie status. So basically anything is normal - I wouldn't worry. DD is 10 weeks old and were still waiting on her to start smiling.
DS1 - 9;
DS2 - 6;
Angel - May 10, 2011;
Baby Girl - Due May 19, 2013
We're right at 6 months adjusted, and we have to work hard to entertain. We're just starting to get some good, hearty belly laughs. The dog gets the best ones, actually!
DD was born at 35 weeks. She will be 6 months actual age next week. She has only laughed a handful of times. It just seems really late.nbsp;
Same with my 35 weeker. He just started small laughs a couple weeks ago but not full blown laughter. I don't think it's late since babies are gonna do what they want and can when they are ready.
My DD was born at 32 weeks and just turned 9 months old yesterday. I guess she's 7 months adjusted. I wouldn't worry about laughing/smiling. It will happen! I think it's hard to know what milestones to adjust for. Some stuff she's right on track and then late for some. No big deal! My DD smiles a lot, but I think she started laughing around 8 months. I shot this video of her a month ago.
