Which style of the FP rock n play sleeper do you suggest?
There is the regular basic style and then the deluxe style.
Also I know there was a recall on these in the past. Have the recall issues been cleared up?
TIA!
I have the regular one, but I bought it when there was just one kind. I like the idea of the more padded one to avoid flat heads.
The recall was due to mold being on the insert. Just made sure you dry it thoroughly before putting it back together. Also if LO pees or poops on it that you clean it properly.

I think you should try out the deluxe style with more padding. I wonder if it's more breathable and helps reduce issues with flat head because the original offers very little padding or breathability. The recall was more of a warning about potential mold growth with the fabric insert. I suspect that fabric breathability was part of the issue, but the biggest factor was lack of care in cleaning and drying the insert with accidents or spit-ups.
I disagree with pps, the mold was mostly on the more plush versions. The extra padding isn't necessary and can be very hot for some babies. If you buy the regular version you can always add a plush blanket for more padding. Babies get flat head because they are left in apparatuses too much. Cuddle with your baby, use other things to hold them and you will be fine. Dd exclusively slept in the yellow one for 4 mos and was great.
We have the basic one and it's great. I would also be worried about the deluxe making baby too hot. Make sure you rotate the baby's head from side to side and this will help avoid getting a flat head.
