Drinking during the two week wait?!

How do you all approach the concept of drinking alcohol during the TWW?  Just don't drink if you might be preggo?  Just wondering what others do about this ...

I drink as I normally would.  Being in the 2WW doesn't mean you're pregnant.  Until that second line shows up, I'm not pregnant.  Until then, I'm drinking.

Do I go out and drink until I pass out or black out?  No.  But if we're floating down the river on a raft for a few hours, I'm going to have my share of beer and most likely get 'drunk'.  As long as you're not driving or making any bad decisions, I don't think there is anything wrong with getting drunk every once and awhile.

OP you're probably fine. I never used to drink during the TWW but now if I have a drink or two during that time, I don't consider it a big deal.

What stage of life would that be?

I drink socially, weekly, but responsibly. Also, I make bomb sangria.

Being a mother and someone who will be TTC in the future, I still am justified an adult social life. I co parent my DD with her Dad, so when it's his weekend, I get my adult time in :].

OP, I believe in drink til it's pink. I have cut back on when and how much I drink, but that's for health reasons.

I got shiiiit faced drunk the night before my BFP. I tested that morning, BFN. Got hammered (two bottles of wine for dinner), woke up the next morning - BFP. And now I have a healthy baby boy growing.

Guess I've already started down the path of crappy mom.

I drink. And I get drunk. I probably had 10 beers on Saturday (spread out over 8+ hours). I feel a little guilty about that, but being Irish Catholic, I am in a constant state of guilt. I will continue to drink during the 2WW for the reasons mentioned by PP who also drink til it's pink.

I'm not a huge drinker, but I don't shy away from a couple glasses of wine just because I'm in the 2WW.

I went to a bottomless Mimosa Bar the day before I found out I was pregnant.  What you don't know wont hurt them, just don't drop acid or anything.  LOL
