Appendicitis?

I vaguely remember someone posting a while ago that she had an emergency appendectomy since being pregnant. Are you out there woman...??

For the last couple hours I have been having this pain in my belly on the lower right side. Pretty darn low, like almost into my hip and groin area. It goes from a stabbing pain to a dull achy pain and gets worse with movement. Dr. Google suggests it could be my appendix and I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I don't remember ever feeling this when I was pregnant with DS.

My sister had a flare up during pregnancy and then 3 weeks after birth she actually had to get it removed. If you are in pain there more than a few hours/getting sickthrow up etc I'd call my doctor ASAP, better safe then sorry !

I also had my appendix removed over summer and it came out of no where. Now when anyone tells me pain in lower right abdomen I say it's the appendix!

I thought I was having appendicitis this past Saturday but waited until today to ask my doctor about it because it got a little better on Sunday and even more so today. He said it's RLP, that it's very common in second tri but should ease up in the third. It hurt worst going from sitting to standing and then the first few steps walking I could hardly straighten up.
I hope this helps, but if you're really concerned, call your doctor. Nothing is better than peace of mind!

Ok this sounds just like what I have going on. Weird since I never had this with DS! Thanks for the advice ladies. I will call my dr if anything gets worse.

A few weeks ago I was having severe pain in my right abdomen and lower back on right side. Doctor told me to go to LD to be sure it wasn't appendix or something else. DX was UTI and growing pains. I felt better in about 36 hours and haven't had it since.

it's RLP probably. if it was appendicitis you would be in severe pain and probably very sick overall (barfing etc)
