how long before they would poop on potty

we stated this last week and she is doing well with peeing but hasn't pooped on the potty yet.  she will poop in her underwear or not at all. I am worried about constipation.

Every kid is different. For some kids, poop is actually easier because there is more of an active role in pushing. Pee comes a little more "freely."

For my DS, it took about 6 extra months after he was pee trained for him to poop train. He would poop in his underpants or wait until after nap or wake up when he was in a pull up.

It's been about a year and a half since I PT'd my son...but I think it was a good couple of weeks before he started pooping on the potty.
