Update to BFP now BFN

I posted yesterday about how I had taken several (ok, 7..) HPT's and had 4 very faint BFP's and a digital BFP, but the last test I took (48 hours after the first BFP) was a BFN.

 AF wasn't supposed to arrive until today, so I thought. After checking my fertility tracker (My Days App), I realized that somehow it was set on a 43 day cycle. (I believe because I tracked during the time that I came off of BC and the delay in AF returning threw the numbers off). I don't know how I didn't realize it was SO off.

So based on a 28 day cycle (which may not be completely accurate, but I haven't been off of BC long enough to know), I am 15 days late. The past two days, however, HPT's are BFN.

 I have NO clue what is going on at this point? Would you go ahead and call the doc or wait and keep testing?

It sounds like a possible chemical pregnancy.  Last cycle I had a few days of BFPs after I missed AF.  A few days later I got a BFN and then the next day started bleeding.  I would keep testing until AF arrives. If your cycle is longer than 60 days with no BFP or AF call your doctor.

It's really difficult to say unless you were previously charting your temp. The apps are notoriously innaccurate.

 That's what I'm afraid of. As much as I want that BFP to be true, if it's not, I'm just ready for AF to appear so I'm not in this limbo anymore.

 Definitely wasn't charting temps. This was my first full cycle off of BC and we weren't expecting much. I honestly had just downloaded the app to give me an idea about where to start. I've always had a pretty textbook cycle and the app was pretty spot on with my last pregnancy, although I believe my cycles were closer to 30-32 days.

Could be chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage.  With my m/c (which was only a few days after my first BFP), my first BFP was very faint but I didn't think much of it, because it was that way with my pregnancy with DS too.  So I tested again 2 days later but the line was not any darker.  I took a digital 2 days after that and it registered positive but took FOREVER to get a result (when I was pg with DS, I took a digital 2 days after the first BFP and the result came up immediately).  My m/c happened soon after.  I think the pregnancy just went wrong for some reason and my hormone levels never went up enough to sustain it.

If this is the case for you, I know it sucks, for sure.  Maybe begin charting next time, it will give you a better idea of your cycle?  Then your doc can help you down the road if necessary.  Although first cycles after BC are super wonky to begin with.

 For those who have been through a CP-- is it ok to go ahead and try again the following cycle?

I am so sorry, but glad you're not wondering anymore! And yes! My doctor gave me the go-ahead and we got pregnant right away with our DS the very next cycle. Good luck and T&Ps are headed your way!

My doctor said everything was fine to try again and here we are the following cycle pregnant.  I'm sorry for your loss and wish you the best.

Honestly it sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me. I'm so sorry. I've had several of them, if you are getting BFNs then AF should show any day now. If you haven't started bleeding in another day or two then I'd call the doc and get your HCG drawn.  Hugs.  So sorry.

I'm sorry    With my early m/c my doc recommended waiting 3 cycles, but we only waited 1, then I got pregnant again (current pregnancy).  And all seems to be going well.  Honestly I think they only tell you to wait sometimes because it makes it more accurate for them to date a pregnancy if you had a normal period before it started (vs trying to date it after a cp or m/c).
