I want to have a girl name and boy name pick out before we find out the sex next week.
For girl we have Britton Faith. When I got married my last name died so that's how we got Britton.

For Boy the first name has to be William but I want it to go by its middle name. We have Kyler, Noah, Christian, and Brayden.

Let me know your thoughts!

I really like Noah and Christian. Not a fan at all of Brayden and Kyler, way way too trendy.

i certainly can't fault you for thinking names now. We already talking them when we were ttc.

I'm not crazy about Britton as a first name. It just looks like a badly misspelled Brittany, and would likely be pronounced that way. It'd be nice as a mn though!

You don't HAVE to name him William. You should name your kid what you're actually going to call him. If you don't want to call him William, then do William as the mn. Noah William or Christian William is nice.

Also, it's more important to find names you both love, than to rush the naming process to fit some arbitrary timeline. You don't have to have the names picked before the u/s.

Dislke Kyler. I know it's. legit name , it's jus NMS.

and I hate Brayden, just because its a stupid name.

Dontget me wrong. Normally You can put just about any name in the middle name spot, because most of the time you never use the middle name, but that's not what you are doing so you have to shop for a middle name like you would a first name. If you were going to name your son William Brayden, I probably wouldn't have a problem with that , you're looking for the name that you should call him, and IMO that name should just not be Brayden.

While Faith is NMS, I would definitely go with Faith Britton. Your maiden name is better off in the middle name spot!

And I love the names William and Noah. The others are sooo NMS. I think that Noah William is the best choice (if you plan to call him Noah anyway!).

My husband has always gone by his middle name and it's confusing for others. He has to respond to two names, since anything official has his first name on it. He made me promise we would call our children by their first names.

I have no idea if others who go by their MN feel this way. I'm sure it depends on whether or not they choose to. But I thought I'd share how DH felt about it.
