My 17 month old likes to catch flies, with his hands (weird I know) and yes he does catch them! Well apparently today he caught a bee! It stung his thumb! Since he had been cranky all morning I didn't even notice when he got stung (was looking for his shoes when it happened) I had no idea there was a bee in the house. So we get to church and he starts crying again and lifts his hand up wanting me to kiss it, and I saw his poor little thumb so swollen! I had no clue what had happened at first! Poor baby, my oldest has never been stung so I had no idea what to do and of course called the doctor. He won't let us put ice on it so the only thing cold he would hold was popsicles. Now he's napping and I'm almost out of popsicles. Has anyone elses baby done this? How did you help him/her feel better. I've also gave him tylenol. I feel so bad!

Re: Babys First Bee Sting
We found it in the room he had been in afterwards.
DS has had Benadryl since 4 months old due allergic reactions of foods, pollen and grass.
