Humidifier

We had an amazing baby shower yesterday and now we have just a few things to pick up to finalize your list. One item is a cool mist humidifier. Should I get one? Or are they not necessary? I was thinking of getting the Crane tear drop one. Any other recommendations?

I have the crane frog. I love it.

I'd say must for when they get sick to help with cough and congestion. I also don't like the crane, threw out the frog and tear drop ones. After going through a few my fav is the cheapie cvs 20 one with the big clear plastic bottom. Easy to clean and no filters.

Hmmm...sounds like I might want to return the crane I got.

You'll need one eventually, we bought ours the frist time DD got sick. We have an elephant Crane and haven't had any issues with it.

My BTDT friend also said its a must have and did recommend Crane. When looking on amazon the reviews are really mixed.

Anyone have any experience with a Vic's? That's the one were thinking of.

We had a Vicks humidifier we got before we had the baby, just for us because we were living in a dry climate and were getting nosebleeds in the night.  It is great, and the little Vicks tabs you can get to put in for when you're congested are super.  We never used it for the baby unless she was sick.... But it worked great when she was, and she seemed to enjoy the white noise

This is the one we got too, but I haven't used it yet.  It's cute...that's all that matters, right??
