Max vs Oscar

Dh and I have always loved Max but he's been pushing Oscar lately after his grandpa.  Baby will be named after his grandpa anyway as dh's middle name is the same as grandpas so we've decided on carrying that on regardless of first name.  So which do you prefer?

Maxwell (Max) Freeman 

Oscar Freeman

This too - but then if the baby is born and reminds you of grandpa then Oscar.  They are both great names you really can't go wrong.

Oscar is nice, but I LOVE Maxwell with nn Max. And I think Max and Sam is a perfect sibset.

I prefer just Max. For whatever reason, I cannot stand any of the "formals" (Maximilian, Maxwell, Maxfield). They just sound too pretentious!

If you would insist upon Maxwell... then I do prefer Oscar.

I feel like this was just posted a little while ago.....I will sya the same thing. I like Maxwell if he goes by Max and Oscar reminds me of a cat. I really dislike it.

I am torn. I love "Max" but not Maxwell (reminds me of coffee). I also like Oscar. Hmm. I think I will vote "Max"/Maxwell because Sam & Max sound like a cute sibset.

Middle name will be Freeman. I know...it kind of sounds like a last name because it is an old surname on Dh's side.
