I am so super spread-thin right now, between work, commute, school, and my two babies. I need to run, to relieve stress and take a moment to myself. Problem is, when?? And where? And how?
Super-busy moms who run, what works for you?

I run 3 miles on my lunch hour a few times a week. I have showers at work but most of the time I just do a wipe down with some baby wipes and put my clothes back on. It's not ideal, hygienically, but it's better than not exercising. I also sometimes will walk 3 miles at lunch, which I can do in an hour and it doesn't require an elaborate routine to put myself back together. As soon as my babies start sleeping better in the mornings I will start running in the early morning before work again.

I'm a teacher, so I have this luxury, but I run right after school on non-meeting days. I only go 30 minutes, but I leave my kids in daycare for that extra half hour and take that time for myself. It's a sanity saver.
I run on the treadmill in the gym at school or around the campus.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."

I aim to run 3x/week. I run with a friend twice in the morning during the week at 6. I run once during the weekend usually once the boys are in bed. 3 miles is as much as I go at a time
I'm struggling to find the time. Right now I'm only running on the weekends, but really need/want to fit in some midweek runs. I think I'm going to have to do it at night.
I run on the weekends. DH and I take turns. It's part of our routine unless we're out of town. Thursday evenings are also "my" evenings because DH does pickup and usually I opt for the gym.

I run 5-6 times a week. I either run 5 miles on my lunch hour and shower in the locker room at work, or run at 7:30 after DD goes to bed.
I also take her out in the running stroller when the weather is nice. I never skip runs on the weekend now that I have DD. If DH is home I go at any time I want, but if he's away for work I get on my treadmill during nap time.
I will say a treadmill was the best purchase we made post-pregnancy. It's not the same as running outside, but it keeps me in shape. I've been distance running for over 20 years and would not be happy w/o it!

This is exactly what I do, except there happens to be a gym near my office, so I change and shower there (if I have time to shower!). This is the only exercise I get aside from a walk or two over the weekend with the kids because my husband leaves so early for work, so I can't go for a run before work, and as soon as I get home, it's chaos to get dinner on the table and the kids ready for bed.

I am worried about making running happen. I just had my baby last week so I am not running again yet. It is my third, so the double jogging stroller won't cut it anymore. I tried it while walking, making the toddlers alternate walking, and it was a disaster.
My husband got a bike trainer for the garage, and working out there in the AM or during naps is perfect for him he is a SAHD. I might need to take a hint from him and consider getting a treadmill.
DH started working longer hours recently, so finding time has been challenging. We take turns running first thing in the morning on weekends and I go one evening a week after DH gets home (around 7pm, after dinner).
I run at a local high school track.
2 mornings a week I get up 40 minutes early and do an exercise video in the house (Jillian Michaels)
DHgoes to the gym right after work and I go in the evening after dinner. DH will do bath time and by the time I get home I can still read to her and tuck her in for the evening. I only live 7 mins from the gym and do between 20-45mins of cardio (treadmill, bike, or gazelle) on weight days I'm a bit longer at about an hour but still make it in time for bedtime.
I jog with DD and the dog when I get home from work. We just jog around the neighborhood. I'm a teacher so I get home relatively early (around 4 most days). It's a lot of work jogging with the stroller and my dog on the leash but DH doesn't get home until 6 and I find that if I don't do it as soon as I get home, it just doesn't happen. On super hot days I wait until after DD is in bed and I go with the dog.
Honestly, my dog is the one who motivates me and keeps me going. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't make the time to run.

I have just gotten back into running this spring. I finally realized, the only time that I will consistently go, is to do it first thing in the morning. Otherwise, I get too busy at work and I'm too tired at night!
I run during my lunch break either outside or inside the gym on a treadmill. I take a quick shower afterwards and reapply minimal make up. I don't have time to wash my hair but I will take a blow dryer to the areas that are damp.

I run 5 miles, 5 days a week and always in the early morning. I have the luxury of working from home so don't have to worry about getting ready and commuting.
During the summer when it gets light early, I head outside at 6am for a run with the dog. Home by 6:45, shower, get DD up and ready for daycare. DH usually does daycare drop off around 8:00am.
In the winter it's pretty much the same routine except I run on a treadmill in our basement.
I run after work, usually some time between 6:30 and 8:30. Also on Saturday and Sunday mornings, occasionally I hit the treadmill at the gym on my lunch hour.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
I run between 3 and 5 miles on my lunch break 3 days a week (treadmill at the gym) and have added in a run outside on Saturday morning or evening depending on when I can get the time. (Outside run is currently 3 miles, but will gradually increase because I'm training for a race in the fall.)
On my lunch break (we have a trail on the property, a nearby bike trail and a fitness center onsite), early in the morning if DH did not work the night before (I will get up at 5 and back home by 6:30 if I run in the neighborhood), on weekends I will run with DD at one of the local parks.
