The soft finger brushes work great and the teether brushes work well too. I dont start a real brush until around 16 to 18 months. At around a 14 months I start the baby toothpaste it is fluoride free and the kids love to put it on the brush and taste it. It creates a good habit.
Hey I just met you, and you're my baby. This is your family, we're kind of crazy...
I got a baby toothbrush from CVS and started brushing his teeth (all 2) when I remember. He doesn't seem to mind and most times laughs. I think the brush tickles his gums.

I got her a baby toothbrush, and we brush her two little teeth. No toothpaste. She thinks it is hysterical. My electric toothbrush scares the ever living daylights out of her though. LOL
After 7 years of no ovulation... BFP#1 10/24/11 ~ EDD 6/29/12 ~ Natural m/c 11/2/11 BFP#2 2/3/12 ~ Alice born 9/26/12
Our pedi had us start at 4 months... though we aren't great about doing it every day. LO still has no teeth. She said at the very least to wipe the gums with a wash cloth, more so LO was used to the routine. I bought this banana toothbrush, and the kid loves it. She lets me "brush" first, then she finishes up. I think it feels good on her gums.
We use the finger brush with baby toothpaste every night after her last bottle. If she's awake she'll open her mouth real wide and we brush her teeth and gums. If she's asleep, we just do the teeth real quick and she sleeps through it.
