My little sleep fighter

Goodness gracious trying to get DD to sleep tonight was an absolute battle. We've been transitioning her to the crib the last few nights which really has gone surprisingly well--until tonight. She was not having it. I tried with the swaddle, without the swaddle, nursing her to sleep, rocking her to sleep, walking--nothing worked. She started all out wailing and could not settle herself back down.

Finally DH and I decided to strap her in the car seat and go for a ride. She passed out almost instantly. We brought her inside, swaddled her and now she's sleeping in her crib. Totally not sure what caused this though. Anyone else had a good start to the crib that's gone awry? I am hoping this is just a fluke because I am mentally and physically exhausted at this point. Any tips on transitioning would be greatly appreciated!

If all has been well up until this point go with it was a fluke. If it happens again tomorrow night, hopefully it want, then start to think it has to do with the transition. Our LO responds really well to white noise so when she gets herself hysterical to where she can't calm back down we turn her iPod up really loud. As odd as it may seem it works for her. I don't know why but the loud white noise just zoned her out. Good luck and hopefully it was just a fluke.
