I am going to start randomly posting stories about my life as a single mom if we don't start getting some action in here!
My thought for the day is: gratitude.
I started a gratitude journal using Gratitude365 40 days ago and have over a 100 things for which I have been grateful. Sometimes I write down something my almost 3 year old says because no one is as wise as a toddler. Sometimes I am just thankful for my two boys. And on the rough days I have written my thanks for caffeine and bedtime the kids', not mine. But looking back on the things for which I have been thankful for over the past month and a half uplifts me and makes me realize how wonderful and precious my life is, even on the days I am counting minutes until I put my little blessings to bed.
And because I am a lover of quotes: "Life is a journey, not a destination." Ralph Waldo Emerson
