Time to Facebook?

I really want the whole world to know that I'm pregnant. Today is day 1 of week 12 which I know is really the first day of the LAST week of the first trimester, but 12 weeks right? How many of us were just WAITING for 12 weeks? I have my NT scan on Tuesday which is making me hesitant and thinking I should wait. But I really really want to post. Haha. First world facebook problems

I'm going to be in the minority here, I'm guessing.  I didn't come out on FB until 27w.  I guess, in your shoes, I might wait until after the NT or even until you're officially 2nd tri (13w,3d).  Congrats on reaching 12w and good luck with your decision

FWIW, I still haven't announced either and I'm 20 weeks. I thought I would after our nt scan and again after our a/s. my thoughts were, I wanted to know things were "ok" so I didn't have to "un-tell".

I think if you're excited you should go for it. While I completely understand why the PP's waited, I don't see anything wrong with posting if you're pretty confident that things are ok.

Just remember though, they also have a point that if something does go wrong then you have to untell. So it really depends on the type of people you are friends with.

Thanks for all of the input ladies. I'm really trying to stay positive and I thought that would help but I think that waiting for that NT scan is a good idea. My good friends know (plus anyone who sees me because I definitely have a bump) so there's no reason not to wait. Thanks!

I waited until after MaterniT21 results and NT scan. I told when I was 13w4d.

Nope. Doesn't help. So did I. And then at 15 weeks [after I announced] we found out the terrible news.

Call me bitter, IDC, but this annoyed me.

I think you should post when YOU want to post. Personally after 2 losses and a dx of an abnormal uterus, I couldn't bring myself to announce on FB until 33 weeks. When the time is right you'll know.
