My kitchen is a mess, there's a pile of laundry on the couch, and our bedroom is a disaster. Somehow, I still can't seem to get  my @ss off the couch as I sit here on the bump, watching TV in my pj's when I still have to be ready for work in the next hour.

Last night, when I found out swim class was cancelled, I went home instead of picking up DD early. I REALLY enjoyed having the 15 minutes to myself, I was able to spray the garden, and snuggle the dog! I did pick her up a little early, but that's only because it was about to rain.

I have a teenage DS from a past relationship, who I love dearly, obviously. But there are certain times (like today) when I am glad he gets to spend time at his dads house! He is at the age where he is really trying my patience and it's so nice to get that break from each other so we don't kill each other! He is typically such a sweet kid so it's been hard adjusting to his new "attitude"!

our babies will be teens one day? I like to block that part out. Teen years scare the crap out of me as a parent lol

This freaks me out having a daughter. Teenage girls are so mean!  

I hug DD every day and say, "I need to hug you now before you think you are smarter than me and hate me for ruining your life"!!!

But now I'm mad because I want a donut! Are donut shops open in the afternoon? No no no I need to workout...

It's national donut day!! At dunkin if you but a drink you get a free donut!!

Sadly, ladies, it's true. And there is nothing you can do to stop it (I've tried).

Today was Nat'l Donut Day!  I got myself a free glazed donut on top of my usual breakfast today!

I'm jealous of DH getting to spend so much time with Aaron, go to the gym, etc lately.  The reason is because he was laid off and we can barely get by without his salary.  Even though he doesn't want to be home, I'm still jealous and a little resentful because I want to be home with DS so badly. I hate being a working mom at this point of his life and wish we had the $ so I could stay home.
