We are getting to the point where the babies aren't happy in the double stroller or cart while in the store. They also aren't currently content being worn. They just want to walk everywhere. I'm considering backpack leashes/harnesses, but I'm curious if other MOMs have had success with them. What brand did you use? What age did you start using them? How did you introduce them? TIA for any input.
IVF #1 was a success! Harrison and Brooke born at 37 weeks. 6lbs8oz and 6lbs11oz. Loving life as a MoM.

Re: Leashes?
I do have leashes. They were super super cheap and go around their wrists. I think of them as handholding insurance. They'll keep a child from getting away from me in a parking lot or into the street. The problem is they do nothing to keep them from deciding they don't WANT to come with mommy, refusing to walk, and laying on the ground. Then I end up carrying someone anyway.
Have you seen "hold-on handles"? I saw them on Amazon, looks like a good idea for kiddos that want to walk. They don't attach to your children so maybe not quite what you are looking for. They do have a double option for two.
With triplets I used the backpack leashes when we were out in a public place like the children's Museum. When I wanted to give them a little freedom but keep them close. BTW, I never got any bad looks or comments when I used them. I never used them for walking outdoors though. Sometimes I would take the double stroller and switch out who go to roam.
I did know a couple though that would only leash one of their twins. When I asked why the dad said "That one's the runner." ha!
