Progesterone Question

For those of you who were prophylactically put on Progesterone suppositories, when did you stop.  I know for singleton pregnancy, the cut off is usually 9 weeks. 

 My doctor was more vague with when twin pregnancies should stop and just said they are more cautious and I could stop around 10 weeks.  When did you stop?

I started late. At 19 weeks. Was told I could quit them at 36 weeks and my water broke at 35w6d.

I actually was told to quit by 8 weeks, my dr said with twins it's less of an issue for some reason.

I stopped at 11w I believe.  (11w gestational age, not 11 full weeks of taking them.)

10 weeks for my RE, but I had extra suppositories, so I actually stopped a little closer to 11 weeks.

By 10 weeks the placenta takes over progesterone production, however I stayed on it till week 14. Currently almost 24 weeks, so far so good!

Ironically I stopped at 11.5 wks with DS after a fresh IVF cycle. With the girls I did a FET and stopped a week earlier at 10.5 weeks. Boy was my butt happy to be done!

We did PIO and I was kept on the full dose until 9.5 weeks and then cut back to 1/2 the dose for 1.5 weeks.

My RE told me at the beginning of this pregnancy that after week 6 we could stop any time but that there is research that shows progesterone at the beginning can help keep PTL at bay for multiples so she wanted to keep me on it until week 11.

With my singleton 2 years ago, I was on the PIO until week 6, switched to suppositories and was on them until week 10.

I started them at 6w and stopped around 11/12. Once the placenta takes over, you should be good to go.

I was on PIO until 10ish weeks, continued supps until 14w or so.  Then back on at 21w.

Thank you ladies! It's hard to believe they're already 3 months old! Once we get their new pics back I want to update it but it will make me really sad having to get rid of the current one!
