Hi komurphy! I just wanted to check on you and how baby Glenn is doing. Hopefully, he is doing well and close to coming home (if not already there). Looking forward to hearing from ya!
Hi, I was just going to the latest Pregnant after Preemie post to ask how you were doing.
My little guy was discharged on Saturday afternoon on caffeine and on a monitor. We're so happy to have him home. He spent most of his stay as a feeder-grower but does have a GI issue and weight gain issues. But overall he is doing great.
Since we're getting close to our due date I was just checking in to see how you were doing.
Mom to three beautiful preemies:
Lily born at 27 wks: 2 lbs 4 oz. Max born at 27 wks: 2 lbs 2 oz. Glenn born at 31 wks: 3 lbs 9 oz.
I am so happy for you guys that Glenn is finally home and that his NICU stay was pretty uneventful! I kept thinking about you guys, how everything was going, and waiting for the good news of his homecoming. I know what you mean by family not understanding about preemie issues despite having already gone through the experience. It's like my family has selective amnesia regarding the issue. But the important part is that baby Glenn is doing well and home with the family. Thank you so much for sharing those pictures of him and the family. He is soo cute! I was tearing up looking at them, especially the ones of him with other family members in the pic. Take care and please continue to update us on how he is doing.
