Just when I thought the reflux was better

DS started rolling and trying to sit up. He spits up a lot, I'm guessing from using his stomach muscles, so now he is crying after spitting up again. Guess we're back to medicating him again. I really thought we had put the reflux behind us. I don't remember having this problem with DD.

In the exact same boat!  We had stopped giving him Zantac and he was doing pretty good but now the Reflux has come back with a vengence.  Started him back on the medication a couple days ago.  He seems to be doing a little better. Never had this issue with the first 2 either.  Every baby is difference...this ones deffinetely going to be my handful!

Had the same problem- ended up going to see a pediatric gastrointerologist. Turns out he's allergic to milk and had to change formulas. I also had to switch him from Zantac to Prilosec and it seems to be helping. I also have to put cereal in his formula.

My daughter was perfect but my son, who is 4 mos, has bad reflux. He was diagnosed with GERD at 1 week.  My Pediatrician said it peaks at 4 months (maybe because he is trying to sit) but it has been so bad lately he can't really sleep and is very fussy.  I am just trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel- 6 months is when it is supposed to start disappearing.  Hang in there - I just keep telling myself he probably won't be doing this when he's twelve. And we have him on Zantac, which was great up until the last week.
