When I was in the NICU, one of the nurses said to me "wow! You look great! You would hardly know you were ever pregnant!" I wanted to say "Because I was hardly pregnant!!" I only got to be pregnant for 25 weeks and I would give ANYTHING to still look super pregnant because I should still be super pregnant! It just kind of felt like a slap in the face that my babies came way too early and I don't get to be pregnant anymore.
Sorry, just had to vent!

Yeah, I get this ALL THE TIME. It's the "OMG, you'd never know you had twins!!" I know they mean it from a good place, but ugh.
I usually just say, yeah, that's what happens when you birth the equivalent of what would be considered a small FT baby.
