My store is going to lose!

We are having a Monsters Inc. contest for decopac (cake novelty supplier) and we have to build a display with cakes.  The photos have to be in this Friday, we have not even started yet!  This in a competing store (still in our company)

My bakery has the highest cake sales in our compamy and it makes me jealous that we are too busy making money to have fun like the less busy stores who have the same amount of decorators.  I have to admit that this a really awesome cake display.

ETA: that is all cake except the yellow Dots and clap slate

I think you should bring out an empty cakeboard for your display and tell everyone you had an amazing display, but the monsters ate it.  You can smear frosting on the board for good measure.

I understand this feeling. I work in a store that has the highest sales in the region and I hate it when we get compared to other stores that do a third of our sales. Of course they get their freight and proejects done, they have no customers! If anyone can pull pull it off last minute it's you and your creativity!

Exactly!   We are doing 200+ cakes a weekend and 1000+ gourmet cupcakes a week this is what some of these stores do in a month with the same staff.

Right?! I mean, that cake is awesome, but $200 doesn't seem like all that much considering the effort and cost.

My company pay for it.  We try do competitions because it is like free advertising.  We also change display cakes at least 1-2 a quarter and they are more expensive wedding cakes.

There are some really cute Monster Inc cakes on pinterest. I am sure the problem is not having idea for you though, just the time limitations.
