Anyone else always hungry?

Any other breastfeeding moms out there constantly hungry? I will eat a well balanced lunch and will be starving like I haven't eaten all day about 10 minutes later. Is it just the bf doing this? Does it ever go away?

Yes!!! I am always hungry. I think it only goes away when you stop nursing as much? maybe?

Yep, me too. Usually it's all evening long, though. Like I eat dinner and just keep grazing until I go to bed.

YES!  It starts to get better when LO starts taking less milk.

Yes!  I eat everything in sight!  It went away with DS1 when he was about 7 mo old and spaced out feedings more due to solids.

Yes! I'm glad to hear that it goes away though as he gets older. The running joke is that I eat like C will in 15 years like a teenage boy.

I am constantly hungry.

Everyone else is like "I want to lose my baby weight" and I am over here shoveling food in my face. Oh well.

I am sure it has something to do with BFing. If not, I am pretending it does.

I am for sure. Especially in the mornings. I will a good bowl of oatmeal and fruit and am ready for something else within the hour.

I definitely feel hungry all the time!  No wonder I can't shake these last few pounds!  I will eat a huge dinner and an hour later be hungry again.  My DH would look at me like a crazy person when I hit the refrigerator.

Yesterday I had a turkey and cheese sandwich, fruit and a giant pile of veggies and hummus and literally the second I finished it I was STARVING. I am so over this!

YES! I am hungry so often. DH (5" taller and 70 lbs heavier) started gaining weight bc he was basing his portion size off of mine - he's always eaten more than me in the past, but now I eat more than him! I try to eat healthy foods, but sometimes end up eating fatty stuff b/c a donut holds me over so much longer than an apple, and I'm just tired of feeling hungry.

This!! I actually just posted this exact question in my month board yesterday. I'm always famished and I feel like the better I eat, the hungrier I am!!
