Mother's Apron :o(

So! I totally didn't expect to have a mother's apron bc I had a vaginal delivery but my stomach is wrecked! I gained about 30 lbs (all belly) and already lost all of the pregnancy weight but I still have this 'mother's apron' which I have named the meat apron bc it's pretty ugly. Did anyone else have this with a vaginal delivery? Does it go away ever?

I had a c-section, and my mother's apron was pretty brutal. 18 months later, its gone for the most part.

Can't speak for the vaginals, but after two C-sections, my mother's apron is horrible and, I suspect, probably permanent -- along with what I like to call my "organ bump," which is the hard bump that sits above my belly button and seems to be where my organs were all stuffed back into.
