Anybody here watch it?

This is one of the few series based on a book (tv or otherwise) that I have not read before hand. I just caught up to the most recent episode and I am DYING right now. So much shock. I haven't been this shocked since they killed off Sean Bean in the first season. Mainly because I love him as an actor and couldn't believe they picked somebody so good to play Ned then just kill him.

On a side note Daario Naharis of the Second Sons...delicious.

I might start this weekend. Mh loves that show and wants me to catch up to him. He just starte season 2. Anyway, my twitter feed blew up with people being shocked about last epi. I am not sure I want to invest time in this show and all the faves die off haha! So now I am not too sure. Bad enough my favorites from walking dead die haha

Oh man, don't even get me started on Walking Dead.

I'm seriously afraid to get attached to any more characters on this show since I'm getting a sense the author of the books was going for realism and not aiming for 1 protagonist to capture the heart of the reader (or in the shows case, audience). However, I find myself wanting to root for Daenerys but I'm getting wary of Jorah Mormont (her guard). Gah! It keeps me on pins and needles.

I couldn't believe it either! DH and I are just shocked!  It almost makes me not want to like any character, because at any point in time, they will be killed off!  And/or, the characters that seem to not amount to much end up being the important ones. 

It is just such a good show!  I'm sad that next week is the season finale and I will have to wait a year to see what happens!  I don't want to read the books until the show is off the air.

I read books 1-3 and kind of quit book 4 about a quarter of the way b/c it's really boring.  I've watched the other seasons but we canceled our movie channels since we have no time so I haven't seen this season.  When I heard which episode it was I just nodded.  I was stunned in the book. 

A little teaser spoiler - (if they do it for the show) at least 1 person comes back in a way (not like a whitewalker - different, you'll see...)

I love the show!  I have read all the books and I think they are doing a pretty good job adapting it for tv. My husband hasn't read the books so I was enjoying watching him during the last episode since I knew what was going to happen. I'm pretty sure the last episode of this season will be a good one!

DH and I watch the show. We knew what was going to happen and all season we were wondering when it was going to happen. DH read the first book but that was it. We talk to other people who have read the books because we can't wait to see what happens, we just have to know! I think next episode will be good. I wonder if they'll show what happens in the book now or wait till next season. I'm excited to find out.

Completely stunned by Red Wedding. I didn't see it coming at all. I was in such shock, but had no one to talk to about it for days. My DH doesn't watch, so he was like, "what, did like a main character die or something?" Although I did laugh at myself that if I had read the books I would have known. I'm thinking of reading them this summer, but I have heard that they are a little boring, but we'll see. Can't wait for Sundays episode. Just wish it was a longer season!

Another stunned fan here!  I want to read the books but I know it will kill the fun of watching the show with DH.  Great show and DH and I really look forward to our Sunday nights after we put Aaron to sleep.
