My LO is 4 weeks old and has slept on my chest since day 1. She sleeps on her side, but I am wondering when you started putting your LO on their backs beside you instead. She sleeps best on me, she doesn't really like not being skin to skin but I also don't want it to be the only way she will sleep cause ecentully she will be too heavy for me. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sometimes sleeping on their backs stretches their spines uncomfortably and stresses babies a bit. They spent most of their lives curled up, so it can be uncomfortable to sleep stretched out. It's up to you, of course, but I say let them sleep comfortably unless they are in danger, and keep a close watch.
