Hi I'm new to this site.  I had a miscarriage in Dec (1st pregnancy) & am having trouble conceiving again.  We did AI 7 days ago & I'm on vaginal pill progesterone.  Now I'm having all these symptoms & don't know if its just the pill or if I'm pregnant!  This waiting is killing me that's for sure!  Period symptoms, progesterone symptoms, & pregnancy symptoms are all the same!  Can anyone give me any advice besides waiting patiently until I can HPT in 7 more days?

Unfortunately, PMS symptoms are similar to pregnancy symptoms, so there's no way to know until your period is late and you take a HPT. I didn't feel anything different except had some spotting (implantation) and I was charting so I noticed my temp shot way up when it usually went down before AF. Good luck though

I know the 2WW is agonizing......and you are right;  period and pregnancy symptoms are similar.

Hope it helps, but truthfully.....you will only know when you miss your period and take a HPT or blood test at Doc's office.

Progesterone symptoms are the same as pregnancy symptoms... ti sucks and plays major mind tricks. Doesn't mean you are not pregnant...just try not to read in them too much-- good luck!

I was wondering. I am 39. I had a MC in February. You said your MC was your first pregnancy. You Dr did not have you keep TTc before having you start anything? I heard most make you wait til 3 MC.
We are TTc again and so far nothing only been 2 months since TTc again. Dr said if I did not get pregnant in 6 months then we can look at other options.
We were lucky got pregnant first try in Dec. I know that will not happen again.

I MC my first in December & the Dr has us wait 2 full cycles before trying again.  After 3 months of trying we went to a fertility specialist on our own since time is not on our side?  Sooooo glad we did cause my testing shows I'm @ 12.7 & 10 is good.  Which means my ovaries are starting to slow down.  She put me on clomid & we did our first try of AI last week.  Now on progesterone.

Good luck! I have been on progesterone for my luteal phase for about ten cycles. Sometimes it gives me pregnancy symptoms and sometimes it does nothing at all. Also clomid can make you have pregnancy symptoms too, and the progesterone can cause your temps to stay up. All I can say is try to keep busy. The tww is long but the time to test always does come around.
