TTC after 35

Intro36 TTC 2

Hi!
I have a beautiful 15 mo DD. DH and I have been TTC for 5 months. In that time I've had several friends, like close to a dozen, announce their pregnancies which is WONDERFUL, but I'm so jealous! I have been temping since Nov stopped BFing in Oct discovered I have a very short luteal phase 79 days. Went to the dr for that problem and the next month I had an anovulatory cycle so I went on Provera.
More stuff too, but those are the things I'm currently working on figuring out. I have some questions for you ladies but figure I'll wait until I'm not bumping from my phone.
I'm excited to get to know you all.

welcome-- your little one is beautiful.  hope your stay is short and sweet.

That being said please remember many on here have been trying for a lot longer and just for baby #1.  I know you are anxious but 5 months is not a long time.  I have been trying for 14 months and several ladies here are also struggling with IF.  We welcome everyone on this board, but I wanted you to be aware.

  • Thank you, I DO realize how fortunate I am to have my DD that compared to many/most 5 months is not a long time.
i started temping my cycles in Oct after I stopped BFing they've been very with a luteal phase of 69 days. I heard it could take time for them to regulate, but so far no luck. I still post on my BMB board in FB group, but lately I've had questions about these other issues. I asked my BMB to rec a board to try, this was one of them. I realize most of the ttc boards have mostly women ttc 1 and I in no way want to come across as insensitive or offend anyone by posting w/ DD in my profile.
Thank you again for the welcome.

I love that the ladies on this board seem to have "tough skin" and don't discount anyone else's journey and challenges, as different as it may be from their own. So much different than some other Bump boards.

So welcome, and hopefully you'll be sharing an encouraging success story, soon!
