DS uses his rand hand more. He points with it, reaches with it, and grabs with it most. But he will do all of those with his left if the right is "busy." I'm fairly certain he's right handed, but who knows right now!
I think my son is going to be right handed. He reaches for everything with his right hand and uses his right hand to pull himself up and steady himself.
DS uses his left hand a lot when he eats. I think it's still too soon to tell.
This for us too!

Yeah it's really hard to tell at this point because they might do some things with one hand and other things with the other.. That's like me, I am only left handed while writing and eating.. I do everything else right handed like bowling, throwing, golfing, scissors etc.. I secretly hope this baby is left handed since my sister and I are the only lefties in our whole family and it would be nice to be able to share that with one of my kids

My H and I are both left handed. Of course, LO uses both hands but I secretly hope she is left handed as well to make teaching her things like using scissors, sports, etc a little easier. We shall see!
Wow, I'm surprised at how many left hand dominate parents there are. DS eats with his right hand and I have been taping paper to his tray and letting him "color" and he always holds the crayon in his right hand.
According to our new preschool and our pedi (yes I've asked), they all have said it doesn't really confirm itself until around 4 years old. DS1 does not have a dominant hand yet and he turns 4 next Friday. He does a lot of stuff with his left hand but sometimes he switches to his right. Some of that is due to his old school telling him he had to write/color/cut/etc with his right hand. One of many reasons we took the boys out of that school. The new preschool says the child can use which ever hand they just make sure the child crosses the plain of the axes while writing. So when doing a lower case t they do a continuous line going left to right or right to left.
DS2 and DS3 are very dominant right handed already. I have very rarely seen either of them touch something with their left hand. I think I pick this up more b/c of how DS1 is about using his left hand so much.
