I'd like it more if it wasn't associated with booze.
You know when a guy places his jacket on a puddle, so you don't get wet walking over it? Well, oranges don't have coats, so they offer their skin in umbrella form.
I like it- not familiar with the booze so maybe that's why. although the porn thing is starting to hit me. congrats on having a boy!

Personally I don't tend to like names that end in "son", meaning "son of __", unless they actually are the son of __. In this case, if your DH's name is James.
Not awful though.

So I know an adult named Jamerson and it's great on him. I think the extra syllable adds something. But my first thought with Jameson Jordan was Jenna Jameson, sorry Just that alliteration with the Js I guess.
So, I like and or don't mind this name. I certainly don't think of the porn star. I get the whiskey association but it doesn't bother me because I've been to Ireland and actually won a bottle of Jameson on a literary pub crawl trivia contest. But I digress. . .
The other reason I like this name is because I like the name James, which could actually be a nickname for this name.
When I was younger, I had this idea of naming sons longer surname names as full names and calling them by the shorter version of it as a nickname. Examples James for Jameson, Jeff for Jefferson, Robert for Robertson. I have a name like that on one side of the family and I like that the nickname versions would be more traditional names, but I have yet to actually do this or have a boy, so there you go.
I'm not in to porn or booze so I definitely DON'T think of those two things when I hear it. I actually really like it. I went to school with a kid named that who was so cute and nice so that's what I think of. I think if you love it then you should definitely use it! Congrats on a boy! They are so fun :
Re: Jameson
I don't care for Jameson. It just makes me think of the liquor.
Allen is nice.
I really don't like it.
It's actually my co-worker's #1 choice for a boy name. When she mentions it I smile and nod.

I really don't like Jameson, sorry! I think booze. Do you like James?
Also is Allen Jordan two MNs or MN and LN?
A few thoughts...
Like most pps, I think of the alcohol.
The -on -en -an endings seem a bit repetitive.

I'm not a fan of random surnames as FNs. I would give it a pass if your H is named James or it was a family name.
I like Allen.
This. And Jenna Jameson.
