Hello ladies!!

I'm a little delayed in introducing myself to the board but here I am! 

My husband and I have 3 boys - ages 4.5, 2.5, and an 11 day old. After my first 2 pregnancies, we experienced 2 back to back miscarriages (siggy for details), we underwent testing, found I had a Luteal Phase Defect, and underwent treatment to get pregnant with our little guy. 

 

And here is a quick Birth Story... 

Our little boy made it into our arms on our due date, May 23rd at 1:02 AM. He weighed 7lb 14 oz and measured 19.5 in. We are thrilled about adding our little man to our family! 

We had an Ob appointment on May 22nd (Wednesday morning) and my blood pressure was on the higher side with some protein in my urine. I was sent for induction that same day. My 1st pregnancy was a similar story as I was also induced for PIH. 

Arriving at hospital i was already contracting every 3 to 4 min on my own. I had noticed the crampiness all morning but I didn't really notice that they were timeable. They even got closer, to every 2 minutes, without any intervention. I was given 2 rounds of cytotec which through me into labor. The 1st round didn't do much as I stayed at 1 cm, although the contractions did get a little stronger. This was given at 6:30 PM. After the 2nd cytotec dose at 11pm, i started to have full on whopping contractions. At 12:00 AM i was checked and at 4 cm. I waited for the epidural which i got at 12:20 AM. When they finished the epi, my water broke and i felt baby drop. I told nurse to check me...i was at 10 cm! Doc arrived 20 min later and our little E was pushed out in less than 10 minutes. A 6.5 hour labor and delivery and we are blessed with our little boy! 

Our 11 day old little guy is our rainbow baby. I look forward to mingling with you ladies here! ;)

RPL Workup: + LPD (7DPO Prog = 7.8, Endometrial Bx = out of phase)
Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!

Dx: LPD
Cycle #1(08/2012): Clomid 50 mg CD3-7, Ovidrel CD13 + Progesterone = It worked!
BFP #5 on 09/10/12 (11 DPO). HCG #1 @ 14DPO = 131.6 HCG #2 @ 16DPO = 509
