Dumb stuffing ?

How in the heck do you get double stuffed pockets to fit right? I just got some kawaiiPNs for ds. I can barely get both inserts in, much less make them lie flat! Plus, since the rise is snapped down, the insert is too long. I can fold it down ok with just one insert, but it seems like it'd be terribly uncomfortable to have 2 inserts folded. Ds is 11 lb 4 oz if that matters. I think we'll need them double stuffed for night.

Maybe you could use something more absorbent instead of the mf inserts...like infant/small sized prefolds? I only use our p&n's during the day so I only use 1 insert, but it seems like it would be hard to fit 2 in and make it fit right, especially with the rise snapped.

I haven't used kawaii, but with other brands with the rise fully snapped I've had to stuff with 2 small inserts, or the small and a hemp doubler.

We use BG 4.0s. We double stuff at night with one regular and one infant insert. I've never put two full sized inserts in at once. If/when our current solution stops working, we will start using hemp as our second insert.

I typically double stuff my p&ns with 1 mf and 1 4-layer hemp. I couldn't really imagine trying to get 2 mf inserts in there with the rise fully snapped.

I seem to remember being able to get 2 MF inserts in if I unsnapped the rise, then resnapped when stuffed. I'll double check in the morning.

I stuff ours with a NB size Alva blend insert and add a NB size Alva bamboo overnight. I hate how bulky microfiber is.

Okay well, I'm glad I'm not completely missing something obvious. I just couldn't figure out how two of those big inserts would go in that little diaper!  DS is 5 weeks old, so we're still up every 3-4 hours at night, too, and one MF insert was okay last night. But I'll probably have to invest in some hemp or bamboo inserts for when he's a bit bigger - he's a serious wetter!
