first time OPK user

wish me luck,  just got my order from amazon.  i am mid cycle now so i think i have to wait till after AF.  my problem is that since my MC in march my cycles have been short only 21 days.  i think i have to start testing as soon as bleeding stops.

would love some advice because i have no clue what im doing( but thats normal for me.  he he he!)

I tend to have shorter cycles like you, between 21 and 23 days, and I've found I've O'd as early as CD9 and as late as CD13.  I start testing with OPKs on CD6 or 7.  Good luck!

They should have an instruction sheet with your OPK's and should give you a suggested CD start to your average menstrual cycle day.  Meaning, if your cycles are 21 days now, then, look at the sheet next to the 21 day and it will give you a suggested CD to begin testing.  I would even go one day before, just for security.  Do you have a lot of them and are they cheap?  I know those test can be quite costly.  I have been using the dollar store ones and they work, believe it or not.  I use to use the digital clear blue easy ones and when I moved, they were extremely expensive where I moved to, so I have been trying these.....

i think the pack came with 40 o tests and 20 preg tests for less than $20.  i figures i could mess up and not worry.  im going to start testing right after AF so i get an idea of when i ovulate so next month i can only test around the time i should o. 

will let you know how it works.  i am CD 15 so i should have 6 more days til AF.
