Back to the ER UPDATED

DS is not getting any better. We have him back on O2 at home and have been giving him breathing treatments and pedialyte. He isnt really wanting to eat and is doing this weird holding his breath thing. His cough hasn't improved and he is so tired. His Dr. said to take him to the ER and she will call us once we are there. I am almost positive that we are going to end up back at Primary Children's so I already have our bags packed. Just waiting for DH to get back from putting gas in the car and we are off. I am so worried and bummed, he was doing so great. But he's my tough little guy and we have done this before. Thanks for listening. 

We are home, its not pneumonia its just a virus. Dr. says to keep his O2 on and keep his nose sucked out. Thank you for the T&Ps.

Well they sent us to Primary Childrens, the ER took a chest x ray and said it looks like pneumonia in the lower lobe of his right lung. So they sent us here and forgot to send the x ray so we got another set done. Now DS is finally sleeping and we are waiting to hear from the Dr. Hopefully our ER was wrong as usual.

The good news is its not pneumonia! The ER was wrong thank goodness. He has Metapneumovirus. They told us it is like RSVs cousin. But he did so well last night with feeding and keeping his oxygen up that we got sent home today. We are to keep his oxygen on and keep his nose sucked out and make sure he is eating enough. So glad that he didnt have to stay very long at the hospital. So now we are just working on getting better at home. Thank you everyone for the T&Ps.
