I know a lot of people haven't have their first u/s yet but am hoping someone can ease my concerns.
I had my first u/s on Friday, baby looked good with a hb of 150. She said I have a SCH and didn't make a big deal at all. Didn't mention pelvic rest or to do anything differently. She just wanted to warn that I might have some brown discharge and not to be alarmed unless it was bright bed or heavy like a period. I went about my weekend not too concerned but now Dr. Google has me worried. I know I shouldn't have even googled.
I have had some cramping Saturday and Sunday nights but it was hot as crap here this weekend and I think I got a little dehydrated. I am chugging water today and going to take it easy. I am scared to even go to the gym.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Re: Subchorionic Hematoma (SCH)
Not personally, but my best friend had one when we were pregnant at the same time a couple of years ago (our kids were born 2 weeks apart).
She took it easy for a couple of weeks after they saw it (stopped going to the gym, sat or lay down whenever she could, and ate well). By the time she had her next ultrasound, it was gone and she now has a healthy 2 year old.
It know how stressful it is. Remember, all you can control is you - focus that anxious energy on taking care of yourself, and no more Google!

Mine bleed 3 weeks ago at a wedding and spotted brown old blood for almost 3 weeks after that. It just stopped spotting 4 days ago. I'm really hoping its gone.
My dr put me on pelvic rest and bed rest for 10 days. I took it upon myself to rest longer. I'm back at work now as a bartender but I sit whenever I get the chance and lie down once I get home. Drink plenty of water. At least a gallon. Do NOT lift anything over 10lbs and rest as much as you can. I wouldn't have sex if I was you. And baths and swimming are not recommended either.
My dr played it down too, no extra ultrasound either but I'm erring on the side of caution. There's a SCH support board on baby Center that I refer to a lot.
Take care of yourself and your LO and I hope all of our SCH's resolve soon.
