I went crossfit 5 days but didn't get in any runs. Haven't run since last Sunday. It's so hot now and the kids are out of school, I'm having trouble fitting it in. I crossfit at 6am and don't have an opportunity to run until the evening. I need eat smaller dinners so I'm able to run after the kids go to bed. But I often just want to pass out on the couch by then!

it was my sons birthday so my eating was derailed by CAKE but my weight is staying steady at up 4 pounds at 14 weeks. Normal-ish I guess. Hoping to be around +10 at 20 weeks. We'll see...

  • Hi everyone. Good week fitness wise: 3 runs for a 12 mile total. One pilates DVD. One easy tennis session with my brother. And about two hours of fun in the pool - i wasn't really doing laps but lugging a five year old in the water has to count for something right?

Food was ...ok. Managed to stay at the average of about 1600-1700 calories for six days. And one crazy Memorial day of 2000+ of course.

Weight. will. not. budge. I must be getting older because a regiment more relaxed than this was able to produce results before. Although my hips and thighs feel a bit slimmer than in the winter but I don't measure those so not sure. I know I must bite the bullet and cut out the sweet/baked stuff but I really just don't want to. :)

  • This week went well, made it into our home gym 5 out of 7 days. Eating has become pretty disciplined, we were out at 2 family functions all weekend and I managed to find all healthy things to eat. I may have tasted the canoli cake though :) Tonight the hubby & I are starting P90x. I am 9 lbs below pre-pregnancy & 11 away from my goal.

  • Today starts week 4 on Insanity for DH and I! I have been tracking my weight since I started, just to see how much I can lose in these 60 days. I'm down another pound in one week making it a total of 5 pounds since starting! I see a small difference in my stomach area (and it feels flatter!) But mostly I feel GREAT and healthy! Eating has been tough for DH and I because we've been craving unhealthy foods, but we've fought the urges and stayed tough! Maybe we'll have a cheat day this week ;)

  • It was great with food choices.  I didn't over indulge like the week before.  I did weigh myself at the end of last week and maintained my weight which made me happy.  I made it to 2 yoga session and succeeded in trying a new pose:  bird of paradise.  Didn't get as much cardio in as I would have wanted but I'm going to do that this week.

You sound like you are on a great track. A little indulgence is okay from time to time!

Don't be bummed! I know that's easier said then done but a lose is better then no lose or a gain. Keep up the good work!

  • Hi everyone!

my DH and I just started TTC and I've been actively trying to lose weight since beginning of 2011. Not long after that I found out I have hypothyroidism, and am on medication. I want to lose quite a bit of weight, and I work with a trainer each week, plus my neighbor and I just started couch 2 5k. My biggest problem is staying consistent with good diet AND exercise, usually I slack on one or the other. I do use myfitnesspal, but I don't always track regularly. I've just started using the bump and don't post often, but thought I would give this a try. I would like some accountability and encouragement in as many places as I can get it : I want to have a healthy pregnancy when it happens and don't want to be this size the rest of my life 180 and 5'1" hope I can join this board and make some progress!
