DW and I are hanging in there since our miscarriage which occurred two weeks ago tomorrow.I was 10.5 weeks along at the time. Overall the physical aspect of our loss was less painful than anticipated, and I am grateful for that. I am still going for blood work to check my betas, but one week after the loss they were down to 74 so I'm hoping they make their way to zero soon.We made a stepping stone and planted a flower for the baby that we named Sky, and are keeping our heads up as we look to the future. Now I am hoping for a speedy return of my period, and enjoying time with my wonderfully supportive wife in the meantime! I want to make sure the knowledge of our miscarriage is out there should god forbid anyone else on this board experience a miscarriage as we did I want to be someone people can go to to ask any questions they may have.I felt like the unknown of the situation was quite scary,so should you need to,please ask away!
Re: update since our loss
Oh YB!
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you are going through it and that is the only way out...through.
It's so sweet you planted Sky a flower - that is perfect. We didn't name our baby (16w loss in March) but we kept his nickname, Babykins, and we planted a rose bush for him. At the same time we planted one for our baby-to-be - so they hang out together in the yard and we like that. These little things help the healing, as they allow your baby to be real, and reminds you of them while you process the loss and beyond.
I'm no expert on this and certainly, I didn't need to be a member of this club - I was fine without it. As I'm sure all of us loss moms here feel. But, since it isn't something you can change, just keep on doing your best - helping others as you've offered is a great way to grow within this process too, that is nice of you. And looking forward to your next attempt is good too - FX for AF ASAP! Mine was about as good as it gets - 5 weeks from the D&E.
Hang in there. Everyone says it, and I've found it true - it does get easier with time. But it never really goes away I don't think. Thinking of you!

YB, I'm glad you checked in, I've been thinking of you. The time after a loss can be a struggle. For me some days I was fine and others I was really sad. The fact that you said goodbye with a commemoration is a good thing.
I wasn't on this board when I had my loss, but the women here can provide support and 2mamaz has been a true inspiration to me. Hopefully we will all be in the PGAL club soon.

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.

I am really glad that you checked in as well. I have been thinking of you for the past several weeks and wondering how you have been doing. When I saw you post on 2Mamaz question about where you live over the weekend, I was really glad to see that you were around!
I can't imagine how difficult this must be, but it seems like there are many wonderful folks on this board who can understand all too well, and are amazing supporters. All I can say is you are in my thoughts, and I am sending you lots of warm thoughts and support.
