summer reading program

Check your library to see if they have a summer reading program that your dcs can participate in.  Our local library's program starts at birth.  I looked at the requirements and they are mostly things we already do... read a book, let dd turn pages, sing abcs, talk about what we see on a walk, etc.  It will be easy to meet the requirements and I can tell dd she did a summer reading program at 1 yo!  How fun :)  There are "prizes" but I doubt it will be much that interests dd.

    I just found out about one at our library! I totally want to do it, but we are moving in 2.5 weeks so we won't be able to. It's based on a time limit of reading and they have cute little squishy toys for the younger kids.

    Oh no maybe they will have something in your new town!

    We signed up today and already meet requirements for the first prize, a rubber ducky. After that we can get 2 books. That will be easily accomplished in a day :
