Says "Oh, you're so small! Are you sure it's twins?" Or "Twins? Where are they?" Or "I can't even tell you're pregnant!" I will snap and punch them. If only I could explain to dumb acquaintances that I'm paranoid that I'm not eating enough and somehow the babies aren't growing...but I think that might make me seem like a crazy person...haha. Sunday rant over!

I felt that same thing too. However now that I'm 33 weeks and look like I'm 38 weeks people started saying "I can't believe you still have 5 more weeks. You look like you could pop"

Haha I guess I fall into the tiny category too. I love how singleton moms here "are you sure it isn't twins" and they are the same size as us and we get "Oh, you can't possibly have two in there!"

I know the feeling as well sorry. I love when thy ask how much weight you have gained with them like it matters. As long as the babies are healthy I just smile and say they are all good nothing is wrong with its just all about where they are sitting.

I get this all the time too! I think ppl who are due at the same are afraid to look the same size as me.
I also think people only remember how big they were at 9 months. So they comparing us to that.

I know exactly what you mean!!! But mine is "Oh honey, aren't you glad you will deliver before the hottest part of the summer hits.." Then I tell them that I'm only 18 weeks with twins and you should see the looks I get! One woman said, "Oh I feel so bad for you." Gee thanks lady..Just what I want to hear!

I don't fall into the tiny category, but when I was pregnant with my first and still had a trimester to go people thought I was almost due and would tease me about it being twins. Sigh! It seems like people obligated to come up with SOME sort of comment about your pregnancy, no matter what, and they have no idea how the things they say affect pregnant mothers!

And I am the complete opposite. I was walking into a wedding last night and a lady says to me, "Ooohhh my, belly!!! My daughter is due in 14 days...youre probably not far behind her..." I looked at her and said, "Im due in about 4 months". Yep, just about 23 weeks... I feel like its either one way or another. No worries though, you will certainly pop soon enough!

If you look at my profile pic I am, IMO, carrying very nicely. According to my doc I am as big as a full term singleton mom and when I look back at my 38/39 week pics of when I was pregnant with my other two children I am about the same size.

People think that if you are pregnant with multiples you are supposed to just blow up at 10 weeks and continue to expand. It totally bothers me when people tell me how small I am. Even if it is coming from a good place I have resorted to being a bish about it. Maybe not the PC route to go but at this point, I dont care.

This for me exactly. People think I'm due soon but only 21 weeks.

I could have written this two years ago. My boys were small but fine. Just ignore people they actually think that they're complimenting you!

On Friday, someone asked me how far along I was and looked at me funny when I said 4 months. I added "with twins" which seemed to relieve her because she said, "I thought you were big for 4 months." Then on Saturday, another woman, who didn't know I was having twins, was surprised how small I was for four months. She about fell out of her chair when I said I was having twins.

I suppose people are just comparing themselves to their own pregnancies and because everyone is different, it's hard to make that comparison. Or they are just idiots who should be ignored when they make comments that worry you.

I got this with both pregnancies but it was way worse actually with my singleton pregnancy-like people used to say "are you sure the baby is growing properly?" and it made me so mad. I don't know why people think it's ok to comment on someone's weight/size because they're pregnant.
